NANS ZONE (A) COORDINATOR, ATTENDS SENATE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF STUDENTS IN NIGERIA.

Yesterday the coordinator of National Association of Nigerian Students in ZOne (A) Comr Zakari Hashim CNS, honored the invitation by the chairman Senate
committee on judiciary,human rights and legal matters to
attend a one day public hearing on the proposed sexual
harassment of students in Nigerian tertiary institutions
(prohibition) bill ,2019(SB,77).The coordinator equally register his sincere
appreciation to distinguish deputy President of the Senate
(Sen.Ovie Omo Agege ),for sponsoring and ensuring the bill
succeed through legislative process in the best interest of
Nigerian students.
However,Comr Zakari Hashim have already welcome the proposed bill on behalf
of NANS zoneA, we have deposited our stand to expend the
scope of the bill not limiting it to tertiary institutions alone
and as well, we anticipate the speedy passage of the bill into
