The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students
Zone A, find it worthy to commend Senator Aliyu
Magatakarda Wamakko for sponsoring Sokoto indigent
students to the Institute of Technology, the University of the
Future, Accra, Ghana, for various undergraduate studies in
Science, Engineering, Technology, Medical and Accounting
Fields.
The coordinator of NANS zoneA (Comr.Zakari Hashim)
started this in Kaduna while briefing newsmen, It is on
record that, Senator Wamakko as the then Governor of
Sokoto state,has shown tremendous commitment towards
educational growth and development, he exemplified this by
establishing a state own University, and has indicated
interest to establish a private University, which shall be the
first of it kind within Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states axis.
No doubt of your stewardship,foresight and integrity you
have exhibited both in the state and Nigeria at large . We
urge other political leaders to emulate from him by carrying
out a gesture of this kind.
